Kangaroo

My Friend Carsten is getting married and I went to his Stag party yesterday night. He suggested me to eat some "meat" that he ordered for me. The dish was very yummy even though the taste of the meat was a bit different from the usual beef steak. Afterwards Carsten told me that I had just eaten a kangaroo !
Well, I saw one of them when I went on site, but I would have never thought to eat it :)

The adventure starts tomorrow

less than 24 days before my adventure starts and I have mixed feelings: excited for the new experience and worried at the same time. Every time I go out with the bike, even for a short ride, the thought that I cannot make it is always there. However, on this occasion, it is not just the fear of physical exhaustion, but thinking about where to find food, water and if I will be able to rest properly while camping outdoors. I will share my journey with two friends, Richard and Waeel. We trained together and hopefully we will be able to enjoy every bit of it. In the picture I depicted the track of my first day. MUNDA BIDDI day 1

First day went. It was harder than I expected but I managed to get to the camp-site at a decent time before sunset. I have to thank Richard and Waeel who had the patience to wait for me. Without their support it would have been more difficult. We met other riders. Two ladies who started the adventure on the same day and a Belgian cyclist carrying 26l of water! Even a dog liked us and wanted to join our company around the Kalamunda circuit. Spirit is still high, the legs a bit less Tht S all for now
